Sorry guys, I don’t have a lengthy post for you today. Instead, I have some exciting news!

Tomorrow night, I have the opportunity to attend a Rich Dad Workshop. What is this? It’s a workshop put on by an organization owned by Robert Kiyosaki, the author of Rich Dad, Poor Dad: What The Rich Teach Their Kids About Money – That The Poor And Middle Class Do Not!

The timing of this workshop works out really well for me. I’ve been wanting to read Kiyosaki’s book for quite some time now, and I actually just picked up a copy at my local library (that’s right, I use the library). Since one of the things I hope to accomplish with this blog is to provide you with good financial information, I will, of course, be providing a full review of the workshop in the next few days. Of course, continuing to educate myself about finances is a personal goal of mine!

Speaking of goals, check back over the next few days to see my three part series about goal setting. I’ll be approaching the matter from the angles of Faith, Fitness, and Finance and believe the information will be useful for you no matter where you find yourself in these three areas.

On another note, I want to say thank you to those of you who have been reading this blog in its infancy. Over the next few weeks, I hope to add considerable content to the site so that it can be a great source of information on all kinds of topics. This means that some portions of the site might be under construction as I find the time to develop them further. As always, feel free to let me know what you think of what I’m saying through the comments and don’t be afraid to offer suggestions for future posts!

That’s funny. I thought those workshops were a scam! How’d the workshop go?

While the purpose of the workshop was to try to sell you something, I wouldn’t call it a scam. I knew a little more about money when I left than when I arrived, so I’ll call it worth while. In a few days, I’ll be posting my full review of the workshop, so check back for my full opinion!
